Cormier Wins 603 Alliance Straw Poll for EC 4

Today, the 603 Alliance released its straw poll for a number of Republican primaries in New Hampshire, including the Executive Council District 4.

We are proud to announce that Jane Cormier won her straw poll with 69% of the vote.

603 Alliance Announces Results of its Straw Poll

Concord, NH – The 603 Alliance announces the results of its straw poll conducted from August 15 – 20 for the contested New Hampshire Republican primary races for State Senate, Executive Council, and the First and Second Congressional Districts.

Only members of the 603 Alliance distribution list were invited to participate in the poll and vote in each category regardless of where they reside.

In the races with more than two candidates, the winner and runner-up are announced with their percentages. When there are only two primary candidates in a race, only the winner is identified with their winning percentage of the vote.

The winners and runners-up in the contested Republican Congressional District Races are:

NH Congressional District 1:
Winner: Eddie Edwards (50%)
Runner-up: Andy Sanborn (49%)

NH Congressional District 2:
Winner: Steven Negron (56%)
Runner-up: Lynne Blankenbeker (31%)

The winners of the contested Republican Executive Council Races are:

NH Executive Council District 1: Joe Kenney (91%)
NH Executive Council District 4: Jane Cormier (69%)

The winners of the contested Republican New Hampshire Senate Races are:

NH Senate District 3: Steven Steiner (58%)
NH Senate District 9: Dan Hynes (78%)
NH Senate District 12: Kevin Avard (89%)
NH Senate District 16: Bill Kuch (63%)
