From the Union Leader:

HOOKSETT — Former Hooksett state representative Jane Cormier faces an unlikely opponent in her bid to become the Republican nominee for the Executive Council’s fourth district: a repeat campaign sign vandal.

Cormier said three of her 4-foot-by-8-foot campaign signs have been destroyed, three have been stolen, and upwards of 50 18-by-24 lawn signs have gone missing since she started putting them up in July.

Cormier says the sign vandalism has occurred on both private and public property.

Most recently, Cormier says a magnetic campaign sign was stolen from her car overnight last Sunday while the vehicle was parked in the driveway of her Hooksett home.

“They’re not only taking the $100 apiece 4-by-8 signs, but now they’re coming to my house to take my sign off my car? Who does that?” asked Cormier.
